Einer der Sachen, die iPhone User vermissen, ist MMS. Jetzt wurde die erste, von Apple zertifizierte MMS App von WIT-Software veröffentlicht. Zur Zeit ist es nur im portugiesischen App-Store erhältlich. Sie schaut dem E-Mail und SMS App sehr ähnlich und fragt neue MMS erst nach dem Öffnen der App ab. Ab jetzt kann man direkt vom iPhone MMS versenden!
Die App kann MMS, die Fotos (JPG,PNG,BMP,GIF and TIF), ARM-Audio und 3GP/MP4-Videos beinhalten, senden und empfangen. Die Application ist kostenlos, man muss aber für [Photo]jede geschriebene MMS bezahlen.
Luis Silva, der WIT Software CEO, sagt:
“This MMS application brings the iPhone up to speed on mobile messaging features, allowing clients to make use of the iPhone camera and image gallery to express their feelings. This iPhone application will be important for Mobile Operators that want to create a new revenue stream with MMS messaging.”
